KDP Cells (Series 530 and 540)

These cells typically house KDP or KD*P crystals of either Type I or Type II orientation.

The cells have windows that keep the crystal surfaces clean and that seal the water-sensitive crystals against moisture. The windows of the cell, typically are AR-coated with one of our standard AR Coatings. Windows of the dry 531 series cells are coated on two sides; windows of the wet 541 series cells are coated on one side.

531 Series cells are dry cells that hold crystals up to 15 mm long.

532 Series cells are dry cells that hold crystals up to 30 mm long.

The 541 Series cells are fluid filled. The fluid helps to index-match the uncoated window and crystal surfaces in order to lower reflectance losses.

541 Series cells are wet cells that hold crystals up to 15 mm long.

542 Series cells are wet cells that hold crystals up to 30 mm long.
