INRAD LAUNCHES THIN FILM SERVICES

San Jose, CA, January 22 - INRAD, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: INRD) announced today at Photonics West that it has launched its new Thin Film Services business. Jon Herringer, INRAD's Manager of Thin Film Services, is here at the exhibition, meeting face-to-face with current and future customers.

Dan Lehrfeld, INRAD's President and CEO commented, "Optical coatings have always been a key technology area and strategic capability at INRAD, one common to all our product lines. Over the past two years we have expanded and strengthened these capabilities further, both in terms of equipment, people, and processes. We have decided to offer our breadth of experience and capability in this technology to the industry at large via our new Thin Film Services business. Jon and his team have been working with great success on a pilot basis with external customers for several months. We decided to make Photonics West the venue at which we are formally declaring that, 'INRAD Thin Film Services is open for business'."

Our coating expertise covers the range of UV through IR wavelengths, AR, HR, polarizing, non-polarizing , and filter specs, and both metal and dielectric films. We routinely handle challenging substrates, including optical crystals of all kinds, and both conventional and specialty glasses."
