Quartz Rotators rotate the plane of polarized light of a beam that propagates along the optic axis of quartz.
The amount of rotation depends on the thickness of the rotator. These Standard Quartz Rotators are mounted on a 25 mm diameter ring and have a 16 mm clear aperture. At least 95% of the light intensity is rotated by 90° for all wavelengths within the stated wavelength range. All of these standard rotators have a slight wedge in order to prevent etaloning. |
